Or at least not the portion of it that insurance is wiling to pay for. Perhaps it still is taught to up and coming head doctors, but you wouldn't know it from interacting with the modern psychiatric establishment. (Oh sure, we behaviorists may have found it quaintly amusing, but we learned it). I am old enough to remember when Freudian style psychoanalysis was taught -seriously- as a valid therapeutic approach to pretty much everyone studying either psychiatry or psychology. To people of a certain age, Freud IS psychology and psychology IS Freud.
